Ebook Compilers

Compile eBooks

How do I compile eBooks?

There are different formats in which you can compile your eBooks, but the most popular ones, especially for desktop computers are EXE and PDF. You can decide on the format of your eBook according to the content. For example, if your eBook mostly contains text and graphics, then PDF might be a better choice. But if you want to use Flash or JavaScript in the eBook, like for a game or something, then it would be better to choose EXE.

Here are some of the EXE eBook Compilers we recommend. Click on the links to view the pros and cons of each compiler :

EXE eBook Self Publisher

Adobe Acrobat

How to create PDFs using Adobe Acrobat

EXE eBooks cannot be read on MAC computers, so as far as possible, it is preferable to offer eBooks in both formats. Now normally it would take a longer time to create eBooks in both formats - because for PDF you need your source file in DOC or RTF format and for EXE you need your source files in HTML. I recently found an excellent software which just solves all problems - eBook Composer eBook Composer basically takes your document and converts it into HTML. You can convert even a 100 page document into HTML in a matter of minutes and you can set a template so that all pages have an identical layout, background and navigational menus. You can check out more about this software and even download a trial version at http://www.ebook-composer.com
